Synopsis

A 4-star hotel, a co-working space, a small auditorium. A site next to an iconic modernist building with rich architectural fabric in its immediate context. This project is an exercise both in form-making and place-making. The site in conjunction to the iconic built environment, responds to the bustling Janpath market. Janpath literally translates to ‘people’s path’. The Jan—path puts the pedestrian first and gives half the site to the people for a public plaza– a place for the people.
